This is a scarce item, the Ford Consul in blue without a motor. This would have resulted from some blue bodies being available after the decision to cease making the Mechanical models or, maybe, simply by a mistake fitting a tin base to a batch of blue bodies. So they're few and far between and valuable.
This example has well-worn paintwork and a rusty base but it is all original and the windows are clean and clear of scratches and cracks.
The wheels are nice and this will be ideal to fill a space in someone's collection.
