This is 335 with Whizzwheels and Corgi economised further by closing the doors and if the seats used to tilt they don’t any more.
The wing mirrors are still there and all the lovely detail of the original but the exhaust is now black plastic.
Although a very popular model, you will not find many in 4.2 form because this came in June 1970 but just three months later Corgi started producing the 5.3 litre version which is considerably different.
There are red and yellow versions - red being the less scarce but I haven’t yet found one in good condition. This is the noticeably scarcer yellow one and is in beautiful condition, as new except for wear on the rear wheels (which could even have been how it was sold as those wheels were dreadful). This also needs a rear window as this has small crack. It is easy to replace if I find one but the price is as it stands for now.
Amusingly, the transfers for the 4.2 model were in white so, of course, they are almost impossible to read on yellow!
