Quite a short life-span for the first Corgi Capri. Just a couple of years from 1970 for this and #303 a white Roger Clark version with a black bonnet. Then a Texaco rally version in all white appeared and was around a bit longer.
This is a superb example which has been fitted with the wheels normally found on the Hillman Hunter. these are totally realistic and, of course, a great improvement on the Whizzwheels you'll normally find and as were issued in the box.
This has beautiful, unmarked paintwork and doors which open and close evenly. The headlamp jewels are in place and the plastic lights remain in place at the back. the windows are very clean and free of scratches and cracks. The base is pristine and the whole vehicle is original and almost as new.
This red and black version is scarce to find now and particularly fine as a display item with the new wheels.
