This is one of the rarer Whizzwheels issues. It is the 338 gold 'Golden Jacks' Chevrolet converted to Whizzwheels and available for a short period in 1972. Production numbers are no available for this but it is believed that they were small and this is evidenced by the very small numbers that you'll see on the market.

It is essentially the same model as the 338 but with a different base and a fresh coat of paint. The lovely rich metallic blue suits it well and contrasts very nicely with the white interior. The model has a white plastic roof which lifts off (not shown in the photos).

The front seats fold and the doors open with matching inserts in each.

This is supplied with a reproduction white hood which is pretty much indistinguishable from an original but that has been lost. This is otherwise a totally original example of this rare model and it is in fine condition with just a few places where the paint has been chipped. These are not at all obvious on display. The sliding headlamp covers operate smoothly and the chrome is virtually intact front and rear with both plastic red rear light inserts in place too. These often fall out and get lost.

There are two versions of this, one has black transfers on the two front wings' vertical sides and this is the other with matching white transfers.
