This is a very strange item. It would seem to be a bronze Imp with original paint with the white stripe unmarked and no sign of base removal. The odd thing is that it has the two jewels that would normally have been in a dark blue metallic Rally edition #328.
As this is, in fact, the third I’ve found I have to conclude that it is a genuine release, possibly late in the day for transporter sets when production of the 328 ceased but there were some castings remaining with the two holes.
This one is in very nice condition with excellent paintwork except where someone had painted panels on the doors and bonnet. I removed that but there was some residual damage to the original paint which I have covered with the Monte Carlo transfers. The front suspension had also failed and has been repaired.
This has the later style of window unit, usually fitted to the 340 and later Police models. A very rare item.
