This is a rare item, the Whizzwheels edition of the short-lived Ghia Mangusta de Tomaso which had previously been issued with a detachable chassis. This also has a short period of availability in 1971-2.
Like its predecessor, these model are extremely hard to find with an original aerial which is brittle and, if the model has been handled roughly or people have put it in the box the wrong way round, the aerial doesn't survive. This one, though, does have it in place as well as a near perfect original box, very firm, crisp and with good cellophane too.
The model itself ahs excellent metallic green paintwork with minimal marks on a leading edge only and a small piece of the T logo transfer missing. The windows are crystal clear and the wheels not at all worn.
