A beautiful example in a scarce original box that is complete. This has come from a collector in Switzerland who took good care of his models.
There are very small marks to the cream paintwork as you can see from the photos but this still remains one of the best examples that you will find anywhere at this time.
The box is firm and strong with some signs of age, mainly where it has darkened and is a bit dirty from handling over the years. I think that it could be cleaned and brought back to a fresher shade by someone who knew how to go about this but I prefer not to try! All the flaps are present as well as a correct original and early style membership slip.
The Ford Consul was produced in brownish mushroom-shades and cream. This is a super example of the less common cream colour, this one being very pale and bright.
