This was a popular model and, unlike the second editions of the taxi and saloon, remained in production for three years. Most examples were fitted with the cast wheels which became generally available in 1967 but the first editions in 1966 had shaped wheels and they're not as common.
This is a nice example which is all original and even has an original aerial and the Police Patrol stickers on the doors. It has some signs of wear and the Police transfer on the bonnet has a small part missing. The windows, however, are all clean and clear. The suspension is sound and the wheels shiny with a red beacon on the roof. The chrome is good all round.
