This model had a very short production period from 1965 to early 1966 and is hard to find now. It is a lovely, quite classic model from that period, being the revised version of the Impala featuring a chrome element running front to back and providing the chrome grille, bumpers and rear section as well as the side stripes.
Always bright yellow and red with red interior with a driver at the wheel, This now has an aerial and TAXI sign on the roof. New photos now provided.
The windows are all clean and clear of scratches and the overall condition is very good with good wheels. Very late in its production this model was fitted with cast wheels and this is one of that very scarce type. I am not sure of the numbers as to how many had cast wheels and how many had the shaped type but it would seem much harder to find the cast wheel models. Both are scarce.
Because of their rarity, these models fetch high prices now and this one has taken a while to find so will not be sold cheaply.
A small piece of the original (broken) TAXI sign fell inside when it was changed but this isn't obvious unless you shake the model and it moves around.
