This is a superb model, produced only for a short period in 1970, at the very peak of the corgi era in my view. It has the most fabulous paintwork, although this one appears to have been left out in the rain. It has a dappled corrosion pattern all over but in many ways that adds to the appearance. The liquid green finish is undamaged otherwise and, as you can see from the photos, it really looks beautiful on display.
The wheels are the correct type - often people change them around on these 'Golden Jacks' models - and are clean and original with good original tyres too.
The windows are clean and clear but the two plastic targa roof sections are missing. If I can find replacements then I will fit them but, for now, it is sold as it stands.
The base is immaculate and the whole model does not seem to have been played with at all. The decals front and rear are intact and the four jewels are present both at the front and rear. the interior is clean and bright and the steering wheel has not suffered from any tarnishing, remaining bright. A super example.
