These cars are wonderfully photogenic. Produced in three main colours - dark blue, light blue and gold - and with the cool trans-o-lite headlights and rear lights and, normally, nice spoked wheels. Late editions, however, had cast wheels fitted and the vast majority of these were metallic blue or blue-turquoise. A very small number of pale blue and gold models also had these but they're difficult to find, being scarce items.
This is a nice example of the gold type with good chrome and paintwork apart from some varnish on the roof and some minor marks on the body. The rear hook is the 'button' style and is intact.
This model has good suspension and a very clean base - a nice example of this hard to find item, missing from many collections.
