One of my favourites from 1966, this is the second appearance of the Oldsmobile Super 88. The first was the Police Patrol Car which was issued a little earlier.
The model can be found in two colours: a metallic silver-blue and this delightful solid sky blue, each with a white band along the sides.
This is a really excellent example, showing no signs of playwear in the paintwork which is pretty much unmarked and with fine silver work. The wheels are like new and the suspension excellent, with the base very fresh and clean. The windows are all fresh and clean.
This colour is a little less common than the metallic finish.
It also has its original box which is not only complete, with all the flaps, but also very clean and free from any writing. There are two tears but otherwise it is an excellent item and not easy to find now, the box being worth more than the model inside!
