Sales were very low and most of those went to the States, where this particular item was originally bought.

It is Corgi making use of the 1912 Rolls Royce tooling in a pretty bizarre way, the car now appearing with a blue chassis, yellow bonnet and red and yellow plastic passenger compartment. It does retain the chrome grille and huge emblem (which has survived!) and nice jewelled lamps. The spoked wheels of the original #9041 issue are now solid in a gold finish and a ladder has been added at the back.

This example has a small piece of the yellow plastic decoration missing but the band is complete and the characters are all clean and free of damage.

The box is complete and looks good, with original cellophane almost complete - just one hole and tear at one end. There is a remnant of a price label on one face and a surface tear on one end tab. There is no bubble container for the band now.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0045/4187/4266/files/IMG20261029112108_db5792a0-dd26-4ae3-b391-0adcd755b907.jpg?v=1793276500
https://corgi-toys.myshopify.com/products/corgi-toys-805-the-hardy-boys-rolls-royce-with-original-box-1
