This set features a combination that will have been available for a very limited period in 1964. It is the second type of deep green Land Rover, evidenced by the large triangle shape for a window lever, coupled with a red 102 Pony trailer which has shaped fixed wheels and a solid drawbar. This combination would be superceded by the fawn and cream combination.
The Land Rover has very good paintwork apart from the usual slight wear to the roof edges. It has good windows and suspension, tyres etc., a very nice example.
The Pony Trailer is an original example of the scarcer red 102 with a fixed drawbar. The pony is missing. It has some signs of wear, small chips to the red paintwork but these are quite hard to find, most having smooth wheels and a wire drawbar.
