This was a great model with similar steering mechanism to the earlier Austin A60 Driving School motor. It's much more realistic, though, with bigger wheels and, although probably not that similar to the original, the spare on the roof is a much better item than the earlier red plastic thing.
This came in a smart box with an inner tray and a rhino in a suitable scene. Strangely, there are both LHD and RHD editions. My experience is that the LHD ones are the more common but both seem to fetch similar prices at the moment. few people have spotted this so many collections will be lacking one or the other!
This has everything working well and nice clean paintwork. A few marks but the windows are clean and clear and the wheels nice and shiny. The tyre on the roof is not original but that can easily be changed if required.
The steering wheel inside is loose. I have been able to get it back in place but, of course, it will be dislodged again in transit. A new owner should be able to place a small piece of adhesive on the end of the shaft to retain it but it will be a bit fiddly. As a result, this is offered at a remarkably good price. The rhino shown is not included.
